The more I had been in private practice as a licensed therapist, the more it became apparent I needed more therapy myself! And that brings me to Neil Harmsworth, who used TPM in his ministry to me. He is not a "therapist", but his skills and partnership with God to facilitate healing are unmistakable. He is kind, wise, trustworthy, and immensely gifted. He listens and hears, he is focused and purposeful, and his ability is honed with depth and insight. I have come to trust in Neil's ability to "know" what needs to happen next in a session, to understand the process of healing, and to pace the time in such a way that there is breakthrough and peace. My heart is more open to the life of God and to others as a result. I am so grateful!

“It is odd for me to reflect upon the fact that just over 10 years ago, Neil and I went for our first walk to talk about my faith and the fears that had been plaguing me for years. I was 16 at the time, and to differing degrees of severity, I had struggled with the fear of demons and demonic possession for years. It didn’t take long for Neil to start using his wisdom and the Holy Spirit’s guidance to get at the root of the problem.

My heart had subconsciously taken hold of a feeling of complete spiritual isolation due to the experience of waking up from full anesthesia from heart surgery at only 2 1/2 years old. Through Neil, God showed his grace by relieving me of that fear. So began our partnership in seeking God, His truth, and the heart healing that God wanted to give to me.

Since that first encounter, Neil has walked alongside me, rejoicing in my victories and growth, and showing compassion when I fell short, pointing me back to God’s mercy and grace. He has taught me so much about seeking God’s truth for my life, pursuing a deeper relationship with God, and accepting the aid of the Holy Spirit in guiding and ordering my heart and mind.

The counseling I have received has enabled me to better come alongside those in my life who are struggling, to have wisdom for situations from both my own experiences that I have worked through as well as Neil’s sage advice that I can pass along.

I have had the blessing to know Neil and Kathy outside of their ministry. The way they conduct their lives, their marriage, and the family that they build shows their love and pursuit of Christ, and is something that I aspire to reach. Having them and their work through Noble Ministries in my life has greatly blessed me, and I am forever grateful to God for them. Neil and Kathy bring to life this passage:

Now married with a one-year-old son, Wyatt works as a fusion engineer researcher and enjoys teaching young adult classes through his church.
